2020 The Open Golf Cruise

Cruise the British Isles, discover some of the most prestigious golf courses and incredible scenery on earth on board the outstanding Azamara Pursuit®, then have the opportunity to cheer on golf’s greatest during the final round of The Open.

Your voyage begins in Dublin and concludes in Southampton after 14 nights, 10 ports of call—with five in Scotland—and late stays in each, so you can take full advantage of some of the most respected courses in the game.

Sightseeing during the journey is astonishing, and you’ll quickly see why golf was born in Scotland. Castles, cliffs, countrysides, and thousands of years of history—from Roman to royal—await as you cruise the majestic British Isles. We’ll also have time for a little island hopping, including the charming port of Douglas on the Isle of Man and windswept Kirkwall on the Orkney Islands.

You’ll discover golf experiences tailor-made to play the round of your dreams—six rounds, in fact—because this itinerary is like a “greatest hits” in top golf destinations. With two flights to choose from, you’ll be able to select to tee off from among Portmarnock in Dublin, Royal County Down and Royal Portrush in Belfast, Ailsa Turnberry in Glasgow, Royal Dornoch in Invergordon, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns in Dundee, and the storied PGA Centenary Course of Gleneagles Hotel in Edinburgh.

Before our final stop in Southampton, we stop in Dover, where you’ll watch the drama unfold in the final round of The Open. You might want to stay a few extra days to explore the majestic chalk cliffs, famous Dover and Leeds Castles, and beautiful surrounding towns and landscapes.
