Peruse more of Peru on a post-voyage excursion that follows in the footsteps of the ancient Incans, all the way to Machu Picchu. Fully immerse yourself in Peruvian history, art, and culture during this all-inclusive, five-night package. Meet local artists preserving their history and sharing the design techniques of their ancient ancestors, explore the Maras Salt Mines, picnic by the Huaypo Lagoon, and visit Ollantaytambo—one of the last remaining Inca towns left standing. These expeditions are mere appetizers for the main course: traveling on the Belmond Hiram Bingham luxury train to Machu Picchu, where you’ll spend two days uncovering the secrets of one of the 7 Wonders of the World. Discover the hidden entrance to the citadel, dig into distinct archaeological sites such as the Inca Bridge, and bask in the Temple of the Sun. Then, enjoy authentic Peruvian entertainment on the train back to Cusco, followed by a stroll through the capital of the Incan Empire, before returning home with a lifetime of memories.
