View some of the world’s most beautiful architecture on this journey to the magnificent shrines of Nara and Kyoto. Visit the ancient capital city of Nara, known for its gorgeous architecture. The Todaiji temple and the Kasuga Taisha Shrine are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Your first destination is the temple of Todaiji, an iconic symbol of Nara. Admire the great Buddha statue within the temple. Then, continue to Kasuga Taisha Shrine. Pass through the Torii gate and marvel at the unique architecture of the building’s roof and its vermillion and green halls. Afterward, sit down to a delicious lunch. Finally, have your camera ready for spectacular photographs of the Golden Pavilion, another UNESCO World Heritage Site in Kyoto.
