Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Phones

Azamara Club Cruises® will no longer allow Samsung Galaxy Note 7 cell phones onboard our ships. This decision was made in light of recent incidents and safety concerns raised by Samsung about this particular device, as well as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recent ban of the phone from all airplanes. We ask that guests who own a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 not bring the device on your cruise. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and looking forward to welcoming you aboard.

A tropical island paradise

While little is known of this Indonesian island prior to the 17th century, the tropical paradise of Lombok is now famed among travelers as “an unspoiled Bali”. Discover lush forests, spectacular white-sand beaches, world-class surfing, waterfalls, and hiking trails through fields of rice and tobacco while embracing the feeling of truly getting away from it all.

If you’re looking for more of a challenge, take a hike to Gunung Rinjani, Indonesia’s second highest volcano. Your efforts will be rewarded at the summit with natural hot springs and a crater lake. Less arduous adventures include traditional Sasak massages (often available on Lombok’s Senggigi and Mangsit beaches), snorkeling and scuba diving, and bike tours. And if you’re looking for some souveniers to bring home, pick up some pearls. Lombok is renowned as “one of the best pearl producers in the world”, thanks to the pristine waters that surround these idyllic shores.
