Chart a course for majestic beauty, outdoor adventure, and an incredible meal in the Alaskan wilds. Begin with a coastal drive that passes historic saw mills, waterfalls, and Native Alaskan totem poles. Board a sightseeing vessel and glide in the shadows of snow-capped mountains. View the Mahoney Glacial Cirque and 2,000-foot waterfalls. Keep watch for seals and otters playing in their natural habitat. As the Captain pulls up to the first crab pot, get ready to lend a hand. Join the crew and help haul in the soaked pots to see if there are Dungeness beauties within. After checking the pots, make way to the historic George Inlet Lodge for an authentic Alaskan crab feast. Savor the day’s catch, served with clarified butter and succulent side dishes. Be sure to leave room for dessert – cheesecake drenched in Alaskan blueberries. After lunch, try your luck in a customary shell stacking contest. May the best stacker win.
