Dear Mr Pimentel,
I can not let the opportunity pass without informing you of the amazing staff you have!
Recently, I was privileged to cruise on the Journey from Barcelona on June 18.  I travelled with my husband, John  and 2 daughters  Annabelle and Emma, aged 15 and 11.
I can not use enough superlatives to describe our experience.  Each time we travel with Azamara we are truly amazed how staff go ‘above and beyond’ in every possible way. In fact, I feel remiss in not naming individually every single staff member we had an interaction with.

I work in the travel industry as a travel agent and write travel articles for several publications and travel blogs.  I must tell you I have received so many emails in response to my articles about the ‘Azamara Experience’ from fellow ‘Azamara Cruisers’, who have also experienced this exceptional service and committed staff.  I have never had any negative feedback, which in itself is exceptional!! 
From the minute, you step onboard, one is overcome by every staff members friendliness and devotion to customer service.  We have travelled extensively, from hiking in Bhutan, to luxury hotels in exotic locations around the world. We have cruised on ‘Super liners’ and luxury private vessels, and this last trip we did on Journey has impressed us most!
The reason for this, quite simply is leadership. Working in the travel industry, I realize that when travel details don’t go quite to plan, it is an opportunity for a company to excel or crumble! Captain Johannes excelled!
When the PA system developed problems, he unintentionally turned the whole experience into the perfect marketing campaign.  He and his staff kept passengers informed at all times of what was happening.  They were sympathetic to the varying passenger needs and also, before anyone had the opportunity to even ask for compensation, gave it.  This gesture was very much appreciated.  I have had clients experience far worse disruptions on other cruise lines and I can tell you first hand, getting compensation is often not an option.
I feel privileged to have sailed on this voyage and to have experienced such professionalism and leadership in the travel industry.
