Then, you’ll board traditional wooden boats to the island of Spinalonga. Spinalonga was first inhabited by the Christians. Later, the Venetians constructed an impressive fortress on the island. Spinalonga was eventually turned into a restricted leper colony by the Greek state. Explore the island and learn about its rich history, before enjoying a return ride on a traditional wooden boat, followed by a scenic coach drive to Agios Nikolaos.
