Wonderful Time on Azamara Quest Voyage

Azamara Club “Quest” - what a great time we had on the ship!!  We loved the complimentary wine with lunch and dinner. The crew was fabulous, very friendly and always smiling.  If you had any questions or problems they were willing to help get it resolved. The food was excellent in all dining venues. What was really nice is that we had more time in each port of call, (often until 10 or 11PM), plus an overnight stay in Sorrento on the first leg of the cruise and another overnight in Florence (Livorno) on the second leg of our cruise.

The main dining room was open seating, and you could request your size table. It was nice not to have to dress up for dinner, but some people choose to. There was a wide variety of attire and no one felt uncomfortable. When we asked for our usual waiters Arnel & Broechelle, we had no problem or wait to be with them.

We also really enjoyed the specialty restaurant, “Prime C” - the steaks were cooked to perfection and anyone going on an Azamara Club cruise should try this restaurant. The other specialty restaurant, “Aqualina” was also delicious with a lighter Mediterranean flair. One day on deck, the officer’s cooked a BBQ luncheon and served you. How often does that happen! One evening on the cruise, there was an outdoor buffet and BBQ grill with Crepe Suzette’s prepared by the Hotel Director & Food & Beverage manager. This was followed by a “White Night” dance party on deck.

There was a variety of entertainment, from the fantastic “Class Action Duo”, to the 7 piece orchestra and evening shows, to the beautiful Harp music of Amy Krupski.  One night, an opera singer, Jennifer Fair was the vocalist.  Because the ships are so small, they are unable to do the big Las Vegas style shows, but you don’t really miss them. Jim Badger was a great piano player in the Mosaic café every night and had lively audience participation. The DJ played a variety of music and kept everyone dancing. During the day, they had an assortment of educational programs and entertainment. In fact, you could have a coffee with the Captain or Cruise Director at any given day in the Mosaic cafe. The entire experience was wonderful and we can’t wait to sail on them again.
