Listen to the enchanting music of the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra during this exceptional evening of Russian culture. This private classical concert is a spectacular performance by some of Europe’s greatest musicians. The Orchestra’s home is the St. Petersburg Philharmonia, a gorgeous concert hall of red, white and gold, replete with dazzling chandeliers, imposing columns and dramatic ceilings for marvelous acoustics. Upon arriving at this wondrous hall, known as the center of St. Petersburg’s cultural life since the 1840s, enjoy complimentary cocktails during a brief reception. Once seated, hear the work of the most prominent Russian and European composers. This evening of superlative music in a breathtaking setting is sure to create a lifetime of memories.
Les Farfadais at The Grimaldi Forum
Impressive feats of acrobatics are on display during this exceptional performance by Les Farfadais. Set on the waterfront at the Grimaldi Forum, this private show is sure to impress.
Experience a magical evening of stunning acrobatics in glamorous Monaco. This 1 event showcases the exceptional grace and agility of humanity during a dramatic performance of Les Farfadais. Featuring mind-blowingly limber dancers, gymnasts, aerialists and other circus artists in shimmering sequins, feathers, masks and more, this French-based show includes entertainers from around the globe who perform in tandem to high-energy music and exciting light effects. The show takes place at the Grimaldi Forum, named for the family that has ruled Monaco since the 13th century. Situated waterfront in Larvotto, the eastern most quarter of Monte Carlo, this acclaimed arena is a magnificent stage for the night’s private show.
Maori Culture at Te Papa Museum
Be immersed in Maori culture during this memorable and moving evening. Walk a red carpet and receive a warrior’s welcome before showband entertainment and traditional demonstrations including the famous haka.
Discover the rich culture of the Maori during an evening of entertainment at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. The culture of New Zealand’s indigenous Maori people is characterized by unique dance forms, chanting songs and connection to the Pacific Ocean, including mythology about sea creatures and spirits.
Walk a red carpet to the entrance of the Museum where a chiefly figure gives a warrior’s welcome by blowing into a conch shell. MC Temuera Morrison, best known for roles in Star Wars and television programming, opens the night’s performance and his distinctive voice leads into a showband entertainment by the Modern Maori Quartet and a traditional Maori cultural performance including the haka, a form of dance with warrior’s cries.
Dance of the Dead at Wild Canyon
The Day of the Dead comes alive with music, dancing, fire twirling, circus arts and more at this fascinating performance set in the desert. Be mesmerized as skeleton-inspired Catrinas dancers reveal a deeply ingrained facet of Mexican culture.
Uncover the rich culture of Mexico’s Catrinas, the patronesses of the Day of the Dead. Relish the enormous desert sky, filled with twinkling stars, at Wild Canyon, a beautiful nature park in Cabo San Lucas. In the canyon’s dry riverbed, El Tule, the canyon walls set the backdrop for a magnificent performance of dances including fire twirling, acrobatics and circus arts in fusion with the traditional dances of the Catrinas. These feminine, skeleton-inspired characters are the touchstone of the Day of the Dead, a Mexican day of reverence and ritual. Watch as a string ensemble sends a contemporary international blend of sounds into the night air. This night of harmony, culture, dance and history reveal a deeply ingrained and fascinating facet of Mexican culture in the desert.
