Taking in the new sights, sounds and tastes of each port you arrive at is as much a part of your voyage as the ship’s onboard activities. Half of the enjoyment of taking a cruise takes place away from the ship, and gives you a chance to soak in bustling metropolises, serene seaside views and cultural highlights.
Azamara Club Cruises knows the importance of port exploration, so their voyages feature more overnights, late night stays and night touring, giving you plenty of time at each destination. With all of these fabulous options in front of you, there is only one question left: How do I prepare for these port stops? Follow these tips on your next Azamara Club Cruise and you’ll be swapping colorful stories with your new friends back onboard in no time.
We’d love to see some of your photos from your favorite Azamara port stops, so please share them with us via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest!

Ruby started working for Celebrity Cruises back in May 2008, then transferred to Azamara Club Cruises. Ruby started her seafarer career as a Utility Pantry in the Galley. In August 2009 Ruby was promoted to Assistant Pantry. Ruby worked night shift and devoted her free time to training for the Beverage department.
Ruby devoted hours to working towards her goal. She recalls her night time Galley colleagues smiling at her as she would come to work still with evening make-up on as she had been assisting at the Looking Glass Bar.
Ruby’s hard work paid off in December 2010, with a successful application of Bar Server. Ruby soon became a favorite of our guests and became known as “Miss Beautiful Smile”.
Ruby says that working on Azamara Quest is a place to feel very comfortable and feels at home here.
