Terry Greenberg is a former Canadian diplomat who has dedicated his entire life to the study of East Asian societies and cultures. He holds a masters degree in intercultural communications from Royal Roads University and a BA from the University of British Columbia in East Asia area studies. Terry has lived over 23 years in East Asia, including Japan, China, Thailand, and India.
Dr. Christopher Whelan received his law degree and Ph.D. from the London School of Economics. In the UK, he is associate director of International Law Programs and a member of the faculty of law at the University of Oxford as well as a barrister (specializing in employment law). In the US, he is professor of law at Washington & Lee University. In Germany, he is a lecturer at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. He has authored over 65 publications on a wide variety of national, international, and comparative law topics.
Retired hotelier and artist, Sasha Howard, earned her BA honours degree in Art and Design at the University of Wales. Passing her degree with flying colors led to an exhibition of her work in the local art centre in Holyhead, Anglesey. Sasha now holds two City and Guild Teaching certificates, as well as a Welsh Education Authority Watercolor Techniques certificate. She currently leads workshops at the local art center, as well as watercolor workshops at the Boathouse Hotel in Holyhead as part of their entertainment program.
Shauneen Hutchinson has been teaching various subjects since completing her master’s degree. She left teaching to eventually attend law school, and since retiring from practicing law, she has returned to competitive bridge, playing in national tournaments and becoming a Bronze Life Master. She is certified as both a teacher and a club director by the ACBL and enjoys teaching numerous bridge classes in Kiawah Island, South Carolina. She has taught bridge and directed Duplicate Bridge games on numerous cruise ships. She especially enjoys teaching beginners and developing defense techniques for intermediate players.
