Rona holds a Master of Science degree in Education, a bachelor of Fine Arts degree and is an active member of the Naples, Florida, art community. As a member of the Board of Friends of Art of the Naples Museum of Art, she developed, coordinated, and was a presenter in a lecture series consisting of local artists demonstrating and lecturing on their own work. Rona has taught a painting course entitled “Mixing with the Masters” at the Naples Museum of Art, and as an art education consultant for the Naples Alliance for Children, she has taped lectures for PBS Television.
Barbara has been an expert bridge player for the past 15 years and has attained Silver Life Master status. She is an ABTA member as a certified Bridge teacher and ACBL-accredited director. Barbara has been teaching bridge for seven years and is proud that her students love her lessons. She has helped hundreds of beginners learn the game and enjoy it. She follows the precept that guests are there to have a good time and tries her best to assure them of that. Barbara is outgoing, friendly and has encouraged younger players to learn the “best game in the world”.
Holy Cross Father, Richard Rutherford is a professor emeritus of theology at the University of Portland. He holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame, the Gregorian University in Rome and the Catholic University of Nijmegen, Netherlands. He has studied the Christian funeral and bereavement process for over 40 years, serving as president of the North American Academy of Liturgy and Fulbright Research Scholar studying early Christian baptismal churches in Cyprus as a Fellow of the Council of American Overseas Research Centers. In 2014, Fr. Rutherford directed a student/faculty research project surveying an early Christian cemetery on the island of Mallorca.
With a doctorate in clinical psychology, Dr. Lawrence served many years of ministry, including pastorates in two mainline Protestant churches and serving as chaplain for both the federal bureau of prisons and a general hospital. He also had a private practice where he integrated the physical, mental, and spiritual components that demand a positive response for healthy living. As the recipient of many community and national awards for thought provoking messages, Dr. Lawrence's theological, academic and relational skills stimulate those with whom he has the privilege to meet.
Joseph Rosenbloom, was ordained at Hebrew Union College and is reform rabbi emeritus and senior scholar at Temple Emanuel in St. Louis. He was a professor in the Department of Ancient Languages and Literature at the University of Kentucky and adjunct professor at Washington University in St. Louis, where he still teaches. He authored five books and 49 articles, and holds five degrees, including a doctorate, an honorary doctorate and doctorate of ministry. Rabbi Rosenbloom has served in several organizations: the Kentucky Commission on Aging, the Kentucky Cerebral Palsy Association, the Lexington Ministerial Association and the St. Louis Rabbinical Association.
