In more than two decades of producing and presenting wildlife films for television, Nigel Marven has traveled to every corner of the globe and crossed every continent—visiting about 70 countries along the way—and filmed a wide array of species of mammal, reptile, bird, fish and insect. His shows as producer/presenter for ITV and Discovery include Alligators, Big Cats, Shark Week and the weekly primetime U.S. showNigel's Wild Wild World. A regular on U.S. chat shows (most recently freaking out Conan O’Brien by handling a deadly king cobra in the studio), Nigel also guest stars on many U.K. shows, memorably offering the BBC’s Jonathan Ross a giant bullfrog to kiss. Recent filming has taken Nigel from the Andes to the Amazon for the four-part series Wild Colombia, as well as on an epic journey from Mexico to Alaska following the grey whale migration for Whale Adventure.
