This voyage features four overnights for an exceptional experience of Southeast Asia, including the chance to visit four UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Halong Bay, Hue, Hoi An and Angkor Wat. Join an optional Land Discoveries® sailing adventure through the karsts and islands of Halong Bay in a traditional junk, and explore Hanoi’s temples, Chinatown, and shops in the Old Quarter. Visit the imperial city of Hue on the Perfume River, and Hoi An’s Old Town and charming riverfront shops and restaurants. In Ho Chi Minh City, explore bustling Ben Thanh market, the peaceful temples of Chinatown, and Cu Chi Tunnels. Two and a half days in Bangkok let you visit the Grand Palace Compound and famous reclining Buddha at Wat Pho, shop for silk and jewelry, and sample the legendary nightlife. Don’t miss an optional one-day Land Discoveries excursion to Angkor Wat.
A Magical Evening at Binh Quoi Village—December 15, 2013. Walk a trail through lush gardens dramatically lit with lanterns and floating candles. Sip beer and wine and dine on dishes typical of southern Vietnam as you’re treated to performances of traditional music and dancing. You’ll love the demonstration of Vovinam, a boisterous and action-packed form of Vietnamese martial arts.
