Join optional Land Discoveries to the nearby wine-growing region, visit the ancient cities of Kourion and Amathus, shop in the old neighborhoods, or idle away an afternoon at wonderful beaches. At nightfall, stroll the seafront and dine with the locals. A full day in Muscat lets you tour the mountainside forts of Al Jalali and Al Mirani, dive or swim in clear blue waters, or shop for bargains at the Mutrah Souk. Then you’ll have an overnight in Dubai, where all is opulent and golden—yet tradition lives on in the historic district of Al Bastakiya.
Cyprus Tastes, Sounds and Colors—October 28, 2013. Explore this traditional mountain village of narrow cobblestone lanes, red-tile roofs, flowering trees and a central square lined with cafes and shops selling handmade goods. You’ll enjoy a private section of the square where dancers representing the different regions of Cyprus will perform in traditional costumes. Taste local wines and mezes including haloumi, lountaz and anari.
