You also won’t want to miss the optional Land Discoveries® excursion to ancient Bagan on the Ayeyarwady River, a stunning site of thousands of stupas and temples. We’ll celebrate New Year’s at the beach resort of Phuket, followed by another relaxing day on the golden sands of Langkawi Island. On lush Sumatra, head to Bukit Lawang, a sanctuary where you can feed and learn about endangered orangutans. A different experience awaits in fast-paced Kuala Lumpur, site of the Petronos twin towers.
