Route of Wine Traders. Taste the great wines of France, Portugal and Spain with four optimally timed overnight stays. Our smaller ship sails to the heart of Bordeaux where you'll enjoy two full days and have the option to join a Land Discoveries® wine-tasting at St. Emilion. Enjoy scenic evening cruising from Bordeaux through the Gironde Estuary to the Atlantic. An overnight in St. Jean-de-Luz lets you explore Bayonne and Biarritz, and in Bilbao you can visit the Guggenheim. Another overnight follows in Lisbon before we sail up the Guadalquivir River to dock near the heart of Seville.
A Soirée at Le Hall de la Bourse—August 19, 2013. Just 10 minutes from your ship is the beautifully renovated 18th century Bordeaux stock exchange building. Step inside to an evening of French cuisine and culture, including a chanteuse singing tunes of Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel. Sip Margaux wines and taste delectable French delicacies served in a stunning setting of white tablecloths and dramatic lighting. Tres bien.
