Dr. Ram Kossowsky

Dr. Ram Kossowsky, Destination Lecturer

Ram Kossowsky, Ph.D, a native of Israel, earned advanced degrees in material science from the University of Pennsylvania.  He spent 20 years at the Westinghouse Research Center, and six years on the faculty of Penn State University.  He enjoys the study of history of ancient societies, with emphasis on the Near East.  Ram is the current president of the Biblical Archeology Society of Pittsburgh.

Dr. John Renninger

Dr. John Renninger, Special Interest Lecturer – World Affairs

Dr. John Renninger is currently adjunct professor of global affairs at New York University.  In 2007, Dr. Renninger retired from the United Nations after 30 years of service.  Upon his retirement, he was a director in the Department of Political Affairs, where he was the highest ranking US national.  He was responsible for monitoring political developments in various regions of the world and providing political advice to the Secretary-General.
