SATURDAY OCTOBER 6 – GIRONA, SPAIN

• The PGA Catalunya Stadium Course is located just outside the quiet town of Caldes de Malvella in northeast Spain. Designed by Ángel Gallardo and Neil Coles it was opened for play at the end of 1998 and has matured into one of the finest courses in continental Europe. Recent rankings place it as 2nd in Spain, 3rd in continental Europe and, most recently, 88th in the world. There are no less than 11 elevated tee shots giving the golfer a dramatic and exciting perspective of the hole in front of them. Combined with sweeping fairways, mature forest, strategic water hazards and fast, true-rolling greens, it is a compelling golf experience. The Greens are well bunkered undulating and always in excellent condition, while the presence of the lakes blend perfectly with the landscape to form creative semi island greens. The stadium course should be on any serious golfers must play list.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 7 – PALMA (MALLORCA), SPAIN

• Son Muntaner is located within the Arabella Golf & Spa Resort in Palma. One of three courses onsite, Son Muntaner is the most highly regarded course and opened for play in 2001. The course has been carefully crafted to make the best of the natural surroundings of fairly dense Mediterranean trees and rolling hills. There are many water hazards, well placed bunkers, and fairways with the odd cunningly placed group of trees. The large, but well-shaped greens make a wide range of pin positions possible.

MONDAY OCTOBER 8 – AT SEA

TUESDAY OCTOBER 9 – BONIFACIO, CORSICA

• Sperone is the only golf course on the French island of Corsica. Located a short distance from Bonifacio in the south of the island this is golf at its most spectacular. Opened for play in 1990, it was designed by the great Robert Trent Jones, Sr. The course is laid out across a most intriguing and beautiful parcel of golfing land, especially holes 12 to 16 which are often compared to the sea holes of Pebble Beach and Cypress Point. The course is not long but it is certainly undulating and one of Europe’s most unique designs.

FRIDAY OCTOBER 12 – LIVORNO, ITALY

• Golfers today play at Le Pavoniere Golf Club. Located between Prato and Florence, this course opened in 1986 and was designed by Arnold Palmer.
• Although the terrain here is essentially flat, with the beautiful Tuscan hills rising up a kilometre or so to the south, Palmer has incorporated excellent earthmounding to ensure a thoroughly absorbing, well-defined and top-quality layout. Always presented in excellent condition, the profusion of stylish bunkering, deployment of several small lakes connected by sizable water ditches, and plenty of grassy rough lining the good-width fairways.

SATURDAY OCTOBER 13 – NICE, FRANCE

• Cannes Mougins Golf & Country Club is located just 10mins from Cannes. The club dates back to 1923, but the current course was laid out in 1977 by Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas and is unquestionably one of the best in the south of France. The course is played through a magnificent estate overlooked by an old olive mill and surrounded by oaks, pine trees and fields of Jasmine. Today it features all you would expect from a modern golf club with a wonderful history. Hosted the Cannes Open on the European Tour in the early 1990’s with famous winners including Seve Ballesteros and Greg Norman.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 14 – AT SEA

MONDAY OCTOBER 15 – BARCELONA, SPAIN

• Real Club de Golf El Prat. Located to the north of Barcelona at Terassa. It was the first golf course in continental Europe to be designed by Greg Norman to give it a unique character that places an emphasis both on aesthetic appeal and playability. Norman's designs have traditionally given rise to courses that blend almost seamlessly into their surroundings, giving the impression they have been part of the landscape for generations. The are actually 45 holes on site and feature many woodland areas, open spaces, grain fields, hills and ravines. The greens are large and rolling, allowing great variety in pin placement. Each tee box has seven markers, from black to pink, to suit any level.

In order to ensure guests have full access to the wide range of cabin options on AZAMARA CLUB CRUISES, we present our prices as two separate components which should be added together to provide the total price; an AZAMARA CLUB GOLF PACKAGE (which includes a pre-cruise stay plus all golf and other arrangements as listed before and during the cruise) and an AZAMARA CLUB CRUISE PRICE which includes all the features you would expect from a luxury cruise, and then some.

Azamara Club Golf Package Inclusions:

NON GOLFING GUESTS who are accompanying golfers are also most cordially welcomed! They require to pay the appropriate cruise fare for their selected stateroom, plus a special "nongolf" rate which includes the precruise stay, plus the standard onboard drinks package and attendance at all golf social events both precruise and onboard. It does not include any golf related items such as green fees and tee prizes. The program for either a golfer or a non-golfing guest of a golfer, may only be purchased as complete packages. There is no refund for unused portions or elements of either package.

Land tours are not included in the Golf Program Cost, either for golfers or for accompanying non-golfing spouses. Any land tours referenced are not included in the Golf Program Cost and are only for illustrative purposes and can only be booked via Azamara Land Explorations. Airfare is additional.
