Guest Conduct Policy
Throughout its history, Azamara Club Cruises® has provided its guests with a wide variety of cruise experiences that lead to exceptional vacations. Whether it’s our professional and friendly crew, our unmatched fleet of ships, our almost endless variety of activities, our extensive list of beautiful and exotic destinations and excursions with longer stays and more overnights, our exciting entertainment, or our wide variety of delicious food, you will find many reasons why your Azamara Club Cruises vacation will be one of the best you have ever experienced.
You may also find that one of the most amazing parts of your cruise experience will be the many rich and varied cultures represented among our guests. This diversity offers a chance to learn about different parts of the world and to make new friends. But just as a new friend can enhance your vacation experience, some guests may behave in ways you find unusual or undesirable. Since our guests do come from different and diverse backgrounds, it is important that everyone have a common understanding of the behavioral standards in place on Azamara Club Cruises ships.
This Guest Conduct Policy is intended to help ensure that all guests are able to participate in a safe and enjoyable cruise experience and sets forth standards of conduct for guests to follow throughout their Azamara Club Cruises vacation, including transfers to and from ships, inside terminals, while onboard, at ports-of-call, during shore excursions and at our private destinations. This policy is not intended to be all inclusive, and it is likely there will be conduct issues that it does not specifically address. In that event, as in all others, guests are expected to follow the direction of the ship’s Captain who will take appropriate action to ensure the safety, security and well-being of our guests. In addition to this policy, guests are expected to comply with all applicable laws of the various countries that their cruise visits.
The minimum drinking age for all alcoholic beverages on all Azamara ships is 21. However, on ships in Europe and South America, where the legal drinking age is 18, a parent sailing with children between the ages of 18 and 20 may sign a waiver allowing them to consume alcoholic beverages. The waiver may not apply when the vessel is in certain territorial waters. Please note that an individual's age on the date of sailing determines his or her status for the entire voyage vacation.
Any guest for whom a waiver has been signed must agree to comply with Azamara's policies. This includes an agreement to not provide alcoholic beverages to any other person, regardless of age. This policy is subject to change without notice.
Azamara Club Cruises® offers a wide selection of international liquors, beer and fine wines onboard. You may bring your own favorite liquor, beer or wine for private consumption in your suite or stateroom. If you wish to consume your liquor, beer or wine in any shipboard restaurant, bar or dining venue, each bottle is subject to a corkage fee of $10.
If you are given a bottle of wine that was purchased from Azamara's Bon Voyage Gift selection, then no corkage fee will apply. If you are given a bottle of wine from an outside vendor and/or travel professional, and the bottle was not purchased through Azamara's Bon Voyage selection, then a $10 corkage fee will apply if the wine is consumed in the dining room or other public area. All corkage fees will be added to your onboard account.
Alcoholic beverages purchased from onboard shops will be stored by the ship and delivered to guest staterooms on the last day of the sailing. Alcohol will not be delivered to any guest under the age of 21.
Violation of Alcohol Policies
Guests who violate alcohol policies (over-consume, provide alcohol to people under age 21, or demonstrate irresponsible behavior) may be debarked or not allowed to board, in accordance with our guest conduct policy. In such cases, no voyage costs, airfare or any other expenses will be reimbursed.
Azamara reserves the right to revoke or otherwise restrict drinking privileges of any guest, regardless of age. Shipboard personnel may elect, at their discretion, to refuse waivers to 18 to 20-year olds or to withhold alcohol from other guests.
Our ships have a designated smoking area, located on the starboard forward section of the pool deck. The smoking area is clearly marked. For our guests' comfort and health, all other areas of the ships are nonsmoking, including public rooms, restaurants, pool decks, staterooms and suites, verandas and halls. A non-smoking policy also applies to all components of the land portions of Azamara Cruisetours, unless specifically stated otherwise by the tour operator. Please note that this policy includes products such as electronic cigarettes.
