Frank Stern


Ordained in 1965 at the Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati, Rabbi Stern served for two decades at Temple Beth Sholom in California. For 15 years, Dr. Stern taught at CSU Fullerton in the sociology and comparative religion departments. He lectured on Judaism, comparative religion and Jewish-Christian relations, presenting at conferences on religious discrimination and diversity in the workplace. He retired as associate director of the Center for the Study of Religion in American Life at CSU Fullerton. Rabbi Stern was founder and president of the Orange County Jewish Genealogical Society and president of the Orange County Interfaith Network.
