Dr. Caitlin Corning is a professor of history at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. She received a BA in history and Latin from Seattle Pacific University, and an MA in medieval studies and a PhD in early medieval history from the University of Leeds, Leeds, UK. Her specialties include early medieval church history, specifically the relationship between the Roman and Celtic traditions in the sixth-eighth centuries. She also has interests in Late Antiquity and sub-Roman Britain. Caitlin is an associate editor for the journal Religion in Eastern Europe and has received awards both for her teaching and scholarship.
