As a consumer, I understand your need to reduce your perceived risk when making a purchase. What will be the possible consequences from my decision? Is there a way for me to reduce them? Earlier this year, we launched a series of engaging “reality” videos on our 2011 voyages called “You’ll Love Where We Take You” which I think, after you’ve seen them, will build your confidence in choosing the correct voyage for your vacation.
The series is hosted by Azamara’s Manager of Deployment and Destinations, Claudius Docekal, who has over 22 years experience in that specialty. In fact when Larry Pimentel left SeaDream to lead the separate management group for the “new” Azamara Club Cruises, Claudius was one of the first that he asked to join his new team. Larry considers him as “one of our most knowledgeable travel experts and [he] provides invaluable advice on what to do and when to do it, to make the most of a day or night in port.”
Each three- to five-minute ‘reality’ vignette showcases a comprehensive overview of each specific 2011 itinerary aboard Azamara Journey or Azamara Quest, as well as insight and ideas for immersive and unique experiences while in port. Mr. Docekal provides a day-by-day account of the shoreside and shipboard activities available for guests to enjoy and offers his personal suggestions of the not-to-be-missed and little-known gems at select ports of call, nearly all of which he has visited and explored. Also, you’ll be able to pick up educational tips to consider for your upcoming voyage.
I hope that you’ll use these videos as an opportunity to conduct your own ‘reconnaissance mission’ to fully immerse yourself in local cultures and nightlife for a truly unforgettable experience by virtue of our more overnights and late-night stays.
