Why I Cruise with Azamara Club Cruises

One of the traits that sets Azamara Club Cruises® apart is our staff’s ability to anticipate our guests’ desires. Read what a recent guest had to say about the Butler Service onboard the Azamara Quest®
Why am I sailing again on Azamara in August? An entire cruise line’s attitude, a ship who’s crew was spot on in their jobs, ship’s officers who practiced leadership on a regular basis, and a super former Turkish Army tank driver (now butler extraordinaire) who exemplified the term “sergeant” – “to serve.”

Azamara’s Butler Service

Brownell Associates Letter to Larry Pimentel

Dear Larry Pimentel,
I have been wracking my brain to come up with the superlative of "WOW" and even that doesn't begin to express the incredible experience of Azamara. I could go on for pages, but will just touch on a few overall impressions....
1) The Azamara Journey was filled with Very Happy Guests - many of them multiple repeaters - which speaks volumes for a cruise line that is so young. Many people noted the continuing improvements over the past year - the complimentary coffee at the Mosaic Cafe being a big one. Pettus and I kept our ears and eyes open and we did not hear a single criticism - not even one - in fact quite the opposite - everyone was overflowing with compliments on everything - the ship itself, the food, the spa, the activities, the crew...which brings me to -

Host Dan Azamara Journey Review

Rip Van Winkle – It’s Your Wake-Up Call!

In the short story “Rip Van Winkle” by John Irving, the character wakes up to a greatly changed world after sleeping for twenty years. This story serves as a great metaphor to remind our past-past guests who sailed on Azamara Cruises in 2007, 2008 and most of 2009 to “wake-up” and return to the NEW “Azamara Club Cruises.”

I’ve been discovering comments from those past guests on some cruise message boards stating their intention to vacation with us again due to the favorable comments and feedback they’ve noticed on the internet and from their friends and family. So many good things have happened since our initial launch in 2007 and I want to bring all of Azamara’s first-generation of past guests up to date.

Azamara Cruises was re-branded in December 2009 with a revised name – “Azamara Club Cruises” – as a “boutique cruise line of distinction” with a newly refined focus, and a series of new attributes designed for “upmarket,” experienced and affluent travelers.  Both ships have undergone a $17.5 million revitalization with new European bedding and soft goods, flat screen televisions, new veranda decking and furniture, and wireless internet service in all staterooms and public areas.

Guest Reviews: The Bickelmanns

This is our 10th cruise and by far the best we have experienced – including Silversea, which was considerably more expensive.
The best cruise dining we’ve had in Windows and the dining rooms.
An amazing range of onboard activities and entertainment, equal to that of much larger ships.
A delight full mix of nationalities among the crew, service that actively looks for opportunities to accommodate the passengers and heighten their cruise experience.
Officers are always visible around the ship.
