Clone 27 SEP Azamara Club Cruises Offers a “MOVEABLE FEAST”

Because Azamara Club Cruises® continues to place a heavy emphasis on fine cuisine with high quality boutique wines offered complimentary at lunches and dinners on every sailing, I’ve noticed on many of the internet’s cruise line message boards that one of the most frequent of readers’ requests is to learn more about the specific items featured on our menus for Azamara Club Cruises two specialty restaurants Aqualina and Prime C.

“Azamara is providing serious competition for the established 6 star cruise lines. If you like luxury cruising, try them!”

Azamara Journey 04/06/11 to 11/06/11
Zippity click and I was on the ship – Embarkation was quick and easy. A champagne welcome and I was in my luxurious, balcony cabin within 15 minutes. Astounding personal service –Without doubt the best service I have received on any cruise ship or indeed in any hotel, from the moment I boarded. It was polished and genuinely friendly from all departments. A happy and interactive crew made me feel like I was the only person on the ship. The room service was exceptional. Mouth-watering fine dining – I managed to eat in every restaurant (in the name of research), and the simplest meal exceeded all my expectations. Intimate restaurants buzz with excitement as guests enjoy high quality complimentary boutique wines and eagerly anticipate the culinary delights that await them. Gastronomic excellence and sophisticated service the equal of any land based Michelin 3 star restaurant. Adventurous itineraries – I was provided with an immense amount of information regarding ports of call. A late stay in Taormina, and 2 nights in Sorrento, gave me plenty of time to plan and explore. Then I could return to my fabulous floating luxury boutique hotel. Zappy entertainers – so much going on in the evenings. I could choose from high quality Broadway style shows, singers of all genres, comics, and classical instrumentalists. Intimate atmosphere – I was on my own, but found it easy to make friends with both guests and crew. Everybody is so relaxed and contented. Nothing to pay – Azamara offers so many complimentary items, and the bar prices are so inexpensive that my on board account for 7 days was negligible Luxury does not cost a fortune, best value for money on the seven seas. Going home – all too easy to disembark, but couldn’t stow away. Azamara are providing serious competition for the established 6 star cruise lines. If you like luxury cruising, try them, and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

7 Night Rome Voyage Athlone Travel Ltd. Review

I wished to report back to you on my recent cruise on the Azamara Journey….June 4 , 7 nights round trip Rome.  I have copied all the staff here at Athlone with my report as well.
I did sail on the Journey the first year Azamara was operating, and was totally impressed with everything and it was an excellent experience; since that sailing I have booked a few of my clients on the line and they have come back exceedingly happy.   This trip I just returned from even surpassed my first experience!
I love the size of the ship and as you know the ship is the mirror image of the Quest and also two of the Oceania ships.   The ship is lovely and clean, the staff is outstanding.   With the wine now being Included at Dinner and Lunch…it is a wonderful touch and it is not an ordinary “plonk” but yet the wines change by the day and are from all parts of the world.  The wine flowed freely.   The food was exceptional in the Main Dining Room….. as good as Crystal and any top notch restaurant in Victoria or Vancouver.   The Staff in every area of the ship could not do enough for us; always with a smile…… as the gratuities are included in their fares now….they are not looking for an extra hand out…however, our cabin steward did receive extra from us, as did a couple of our other favourites.  We did take in Aqualina and Prime C (alternate restaurants),  during the week; with the extra $ 15 per person…it was well worth every penny!  And here again we left extra due to the exceptional service and cuisine..Fine Dining at it’s best!!

Q. Do I have an assigned dinner seating?

A. Dining on Azamara follows an open seating policy, meaning you can dine when and with whom you like. This allows for more tables of two and four and an atmosphere for intimate dining and getting to know new friends. In our two onboard specialty restaurants, reservations are highly recommended. Specialty restaurants are complimentary for suite guests and require a $15 per person surcharge for guests in Club Veranda, Oceanview or Interior staterooms.
