We had a FANTASTIC trip on the Azamara Journey to the Caribbean. It was a dream vacation—–perhaps the best vacation of my life. Truly.The ship is impeccable. It is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and outstanding. The cruise director was excellent.
Our suite room was to die for. It was very large, the bathroom had a bathtub (which I used numerous times), the veranda was wonderful, and there was tons of closet space. We had a personal butler for our room, who oversaw all our needs and brought us scrumptious appetizers each day around 5 pm. Our room was furnished with 2 large bottles of alcohol and a bottle of champagne. (Not that we used the alcohol, since we had free drinks.) These were included with the suite. We also had access to the spa room for the hydro-pool and steam room, plus their nice sunning area that was more private than the deck around the pool. This came with the suite. Others had to pay for these privileges.
The entertainment on the trip was the BEST ever. The band, and especially the young director, was fabulous. We loved the shows. The main show performers were multi talented singers and dancers who did a large variety of different music. They performed about 4 or 5 evenings – 3 girls and 3 guys. I especially enjoyed the Broadway evening. One evening the show was on the deck with a fancy buffet dinner, called “White Night”.
