Because Azamara Club Cruises® continues to place a heavy emphasis on fine cuisine with high quality boutique wines offered complimentary at lunches and dinners on every sailing, I’ve noticed on many of the internet’s cruise line message boards that one of the most frequent of readers’ requests is to learn more about the specific items featured on our menus for Azamara Club Cruises two specialty restaurants Aqualina and Prime C.
When Ernest Hemingway titled his memoir about the 1920’s as “A Moveable Feast” he had no idea about Azamara Club Cruises and what a perfect phrase it would be to describe our culinary adventure on the high seas. You can see for yourself our “Moveable Feast” by clicking the links to view the most recent menus for both restaurants. I think you’ll enjoy your virtual culinary experience.
For Mediterranean-style cuisine such as pan seared Foie Gras; seafood bouillabaisse; pan-seared Chilean Sea Bass with saffron rice with Iberico chorizo, verduras verde and chilled gazpacho; duo of duck-roasted duck breast, duck confit, sautéed vegetables and Port wine glaze; choice of Lobster, either steamed, broiled, Thermidor or Lobster Pot Pie; and seared Mediterranean tuna with Skordalia-bread purée, roasted peppers, chickpeas and zuc just to name a few.
Our classic steakhouse setting to savor menu items such as a ‘Seafood Sampler’ featuring a miniature crab cake with lobster remoulade, fennel crusted scallops and asparagus panna cotta with tobiko or Jerusalem Artichoke Soup with Port-wine-infused duck confit, truffle brioche and of course, steaks such as a NY Strip Loin Steak; Filet Mignon; Milk-Fed Veal Chop; Rib Eye Steak; Colorado Rack of Lamb with butternut squash purée; Cornish Hen marinated in buttermilk and fresh herbs and other delights.
Prime C Menus
These unique specialty restaurants – Aqualina and Prime C – are complimentary for our suite guests for the duration of the voyage (including Club World Owner’s Suites, Club Ocean Suites and Club Continent Suites). Guests in all other staterooms pay a cover surcharge of $15 USD per person (this charge will be added to your folio). Seating in our specialty restaurants is on a space-available basis, and reservations are encouraged once on board. (Note: For voyages departing in 2012, the surcharge for non-suite guest will be $25 USD per person.)
Also, there is Discoveries Restaurant, our main restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring a multi-course menu and many daily specials. What’s more, open seating provides you the opportunity to dine at your leisure as a couple or in the company of newfound onboard friends.
Our entire dining staff looks forward to welcoming you onboard and serving you your ‘Moveable Feast’ on the high seas.
