Come this March 27, you’ll want to be in sizzling Seville for some pretty spectacular celebrations. Yes, we know, we know…there’s a whole lot of alliteration going on there, but for very good (superb?) reasons!
First of all, it will be Semana Santa in Seville—the world’s most elaborate Holy Week celebration, where dozens of church brotherhoods march in procession through the streets, followed by ornate floats, most of which are centuries’ old artistic masterpieces. While strictly speaking this is a religious festival, the week is dedicated to fun and frivolity as well, “with restaurants and bars filled day and night with entire families, from grandparents to babes in arms staying up until three or four in the morning.”
March 27 is also the official launch of our new enhancements on the Azamara Quest. You’ll be able to experience a whole host of inclusive amenities, including standard spirits and an international selection of beers and wines available throughout the voyage. Cheers to that!
